Stargirl Notes by Diego Zavala .The main character(not star girl)was moving away from his home town.His uncle Pete had always wore a porky-pine necktie.On the moving day,they were almost ready to head to Arizona.Then uncle Pete came along,holding the neck tie.He gave it to him as a good-bye gift. .In the school of mica high,He and his friends were walking down the hall to there next class.Then his friend started talking about a new girl in tenth grade named "star girl".The one word every one was saying was "did you see her,did you see her".It was hard to know if she was a student or a scam. .There was also another particular student in the school.It was Hillari K.She is a real big hater.She is not very into star girl.Always offending her and telling lies about her.Now star girl had a very far family.Her mom let a friend named Archie take care of star girl because she wanted to take a break from playing teacher.Her mom used to home school her.So she found mica high. .A few weeks later,Stargirl joined the cheerleading team. When she first got to her first football game, something unexpected happened. Yes, she did wear the usual skirt and sweater, but instead of doing the cheers, she ran onto the field, picked up the ball and started dancing with it. The players looked at the coaches, the coaches looked at the referees and the referees looked at the officials. She was yelled at twice and ran her way out of the stadium and kicked the ball through the field goal hoop. .At school the main character and his friend decided to invite stargirl to come on to "hot seat" and ask her some questions. Obviously, she said yes. When she got there, there was one camera man that used to be one big wimp. Yet, after all those days of training, he became one muscular man and named the camera "we are one". They started asking her a few questions, it was rolling quite smoothly. First, they asked her about her name, "Why is your name Stargirl?". Star girl said, "I was looking at the stars the other night and thought it would be a good name". "But why have you had so many other names, like groundhog?". "Well my parents are used to it" she said. .As the show continued, a problem happened, they started getting mad at her and judging for her ways. Kevin screamed "Why? Why do you sing "happy birthday" to everyone in the school?". She thought it would be nice for them, yet it was freaky how she knew when their birthdays were. The argument continued, kevin got pretty loud. Star Girl was just trying to make the show a good hit. Yet, that wasn't what Kevin really wanted. .Stargirl decided to secretly let out her rat and let her crawl through the stage where the wires were. It crawled right next to the buff teen. He was the first to notice it. Everyone was screaming thinking that there was a rat on the loose, but Star Girl was just trying to help. She just wanted to help them make their show a really good hit. She's a very nice person. But instead, she ruined the show. .The next day, Stargirl was at school. She wasn't as bright as she always was, singing "Happy Birthday" and just being her happy self. Some people thought it was because of Hillari K., others thought it was because of the "Hot Seat" show. She just wanted to make everyone happy. .A few days later, the main character developed a small crush on Stargirl. She decided to take him through a walk through the school and into the giant saguaro desert. It was dry and sandy, not a very good place for cinnamon to live. He was just a mouse and there were snakes and hawks. .When they entered the desert, Stargirl started speaking to him about quieting your mind and listening to the voice of the earth and the universe. It seemed quite weird and difficult to him. He didn't know how to turn off his mind. No one can ever do that, but it seemed that Stargirl could. She told him that she just imagined a big pink eraser and imagined it erasing her piece by piece. Yet, not a single toe was gone. .He wanted to enjoy this time with her without making her angry, she still had that faint smile on her. When they were imagining the giant pink eraser while facing west.The sun turned orange and the mountain tops turned purple and everything was quiet. And once your mind was gone, all the sudden you were the rain, you were the sky, you were the earth. It was almost like you could hear the earth speaking to you in a very subtle way. .I though that this book will teach people how to be themselves and enjoy life.
